We're not professionals and we don't get paid to play however this doesn't mean we shouldn't take TBL seriously. Games should start right at 7pm to avoid all the games going past 10pm. 7:30pm should be the minimum time to start the first game. I order to start a game we need at least 5 players on 2 of the 3 teams. We will not swap subs last minute to accommodate this, why? Because there are already 6 players to a Team and we shouldn't have to do that in order to play. This is especially not fair to the players that are consistantly on time every Thursday. They must wait for the late-comers and maybe play a few 'friendly' games. Phil C has mentioned that he is late due to work which is totally acceptable, unfortunately there is no excuse for the other late-comers. So why are the others coming at 7:45pm, 8pm, 8:15pm or even 8:30pm? Let's be on time guys or if not let someone know!

TBL 3-Point Shoot Out We changed things up with the Shoot Out format. Each participant shot 3 times from each of the 5 spots. Every successful shot made counted as 1 point. In the First Round we saw many players shoot but only the top 4 scores advanced to the Semi-Finals. Darren & Jamie 6, Chi & David 7 and Henry 8 posted the top scores therefore advancing to the Semi's. Of the 5 Semi-Finalist Henry scored the highest total in the Semi's followed by a tie from David and Jamie. Which means the final would consist of these 3 players. Since Henry had the best Semi-Final score he opted to shoot last, David and Jamie did the old-fashioned 'rock, paper, scissors' to decide the rest of the order. With David winning he decided to shoot second. Shooting first in the Finals, Jamie was consistent putting the pressure on the other 2 finalists. Going into the last spot Jamie had an amazing score of 9 out of 12 possible shots but he couldn't keep it up missing the last 3 shots in the corner. Up next was David who earlier in the night displayed hot shooting scorching the defense raining 3 after 3. In the Finals however David gave a valiate effort but only managed a score of 5 succumbing to fatigue. Henry was the last shooter, he posted up the highest score in the First Round and the Semi-Final. Going into the last 2 spots Henry had a score of 4, he needed to hit all his remaining attempts to win or miss only one to tie. With a score of 7 with 2 shots left meant he had to hit the last 2 shots to tie. Unfortunately, he missed both making Jamie the back-to-back TBL 3-Point Shoot Out Champion!
